F**K Cancer CAMO Crackle Design (Warrior Story Below)
BRUCE'S WARRIOR STORY:
At 16 you learn your Dad has Cancer. At 18 you lose him a month shy of his 40th birthday. Lymphatic Cancer took him way to young and you lived and witnessed the surgeries, the treatments, the radiation, the chemo, and you saw incisions that looked like zippers. 36 years later you hear those words, you have cancer and its progressed to your lymph nodes in your neck. The same place it started with your Dad. You know what's to come, the battle you are about to start, and you are following your Father footsteps. Your Oncologist and yourself lay out a battle plan, it's going to be rough, one of the worse chemo treatments out there. IL 2 Bio Chemo. with surgery to remove a portion of the lymph bed in your neck. With the Bio Chemo you will suffer nausea, projectile diarrhea, trimmers, rigors, cold sweats, plummeting blood pressure, rising fevers, you will do 4 rounds of this and each round is a 5 day hospital stay. You will become so incoherent that even though you are begging people to let you go home the treatment doesn't stop because you can't make decisions on your own at this point. You've agreed that once it starts you will stay with it till the end. Your blood is drawn multiple times a day to make sure your liver and other organs are not shutting down. You are taken right to the edge of death to try and kill the cancer that is in your body. On the 3rd day of the 3rd round, when you think you have reached the point of not being able to go on, a vision appears in your mind, of a Celtic Cross and woven in the Celtic knots is the Cancer Ribbon. And your mind keeps repeating the scripture "lay your burdens at the Cross, lay your burdens at the cross, lay your burdens at the cross", and you know it's not your own strength that is now caring you forwards, but His.
The Power of the Cross. Amen!
